Robin Beanland is the Director of Music and a composer for Rare. The first game he composed for was Donkey Kong Country, to which he contributed one track, "Funky's Fugue." Fellow composer Grant Kirkhope was originally highly intent upon getting a job at Rare because Robin worked there, and he and Grant had previously been in bands together.[1] He is the primary music composer for the Conker series and Killer Instinct. Most recently, he composed for the Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts soundtrack, alongside Grant Kirkhope and David Clynick.
