Sabreman Stampede
From RWP Wiki
Sabreman Stampede is an unreleased game for the Xbox 360. Sabreman Stampede is a game in the Sabre Wulf series starring the titular Sabreman, and appears to be a reworked version of the also-unreleased Donkey Kong Racing, following Rare's acquisition by Microsoft.
History
Sabreman Stampede began to be rumored when it was trademarked by Microsoft in 2003,[1] although there was initially no information on the game. The 2005 adventure game Kameo: Elements of Power also fueled some speculation about the game, as the "Stampede Team" was listed in the game's credits.
In June of 2008, a YouTube video of a beta build of the game was released by a user named "transparentjinjo," who had also uploaded videos of prototypes for Banjo-Pilot and a Battletoads sequel for the Game Boy Advance. The short video shows Sabreman riding a gliding ostrich (similar to Expresso in the Donkey Kong series) in a village, utilizing a photo mode (similar to that later used in Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise and Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts), and riding a rhinoceros (similar to Rambi in the Donkey Kong series) in a jungle.[2]
Whether the game is canned or is simply on hold remains to be seen.
