Salty Hippo

The Salty Hippo is a ship belonging to Captain Blubber. It can be found in the center of Treasure Trove Cove in Banjo-Kazooie, where it has somehow wound up quite far inland and has become stuck. The Salty Hippo will likely never sail again, but the honorable vessel has some notable distinctions. Banjo and Kazooie learn how to use the Flight Pad in its crow's nest, and a Jinjo needs saving atop its mast. The player will also have to enter the flooded ship to retrieve two piles of gold for Captain Blubber, who, despite being a hippo, cannot swim to retrieve them himself.
The music around the Salty Hippo changes to a more pirate-sounding version of the Treasure Trove Cove theme.
The Salty Hippo once again appears in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, in the Banjoland game world, sunk once more.
