Biography
Salty Joe is a fox who runs a French Fry stand in Witchyworld. He is rated two stars out of five for his limp, soggy, salty fries (one star above that of fellow food service employee, Big Al.)
In the Games
Banjo-Tooie
In Banjo-Tooie he is found in Witchyworld at his fry stand. At first the stand is closed and must be opened with a switch "hidden" directly in back of the stand. When talked to, Salty Joe will give Banjo and Kazooie fries, which are used to feed Soggy in order for her to go back to Mrs. Boggy, and to feed one of the Oogle Boogles in Terrydactyland. Like the burgers, the fries can only be taken out of the park through a secret exit above Area 51 (if brought through any other exit, they will disappear).
Humorously, if Salty Joe is talked to as Banjo alone, he will attempt to convince Banjo to make Joe his sidekick, and will list off the moves he can perform, including the "Salt Shaker Slap," the "Greasy Hand Grab," and the ability to spit fries an incredible distance.
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, a restaurant called "Salty Joe's Fish & Chips" can be found in the hub world, Showdown Town, although Salty Joe does not appear in the game in person.
