Scrut is a minor character in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Biography

Scrat is a young female styracosaurus that lives in Terrydactyland with her mother, Scrotty, and her two siblings, Scrit and Scrat.

In the Games

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo-Tooie, Scrat first appears in Witchyworld's Cave of Horrors. She apparently sneaked away from home to visit the carnival and was captured by some of the workers, tossed into a cage, and labeled as a "Mighty Evil Dinosaur." When Banjo and Kazooie enter the Cave of Horrors and meet her, she requests their help on getting out, at which point the duo hesitate, as she might really be a "Mighty Evil Dinosaur," although she points out that if she really were mighty and evil, she'd have knocked down the door to her prison, which convinces the duo. They blow up the door with a Grenade Egg and Scrut runs to the train station. Later, once the duo have unlocked Terrydactyland, they can use Chuffy to transport Scrut back to her home.
