Biography
Snacker is a shark who lives in the waters of Treasure Trove Cove. He is apparently quite fond of the taste of bears and birds.
In the Games
Banjo-Kazooie
In Banjo-Kazooie, Snacker will appear if you swim in the water surrounding Treasure Trove Cove or a fenced-in area in Rusty Bucket Bay. Get close enough, and Snacker will bite, eating your health away. The best strategy is to use Kazooie's wings to swim while underwater, and doing a feathery flap whilst on the surface of the water. If Banjo manages to get out of the water, Snacker will soon disappear. If you hit Snacker with enough eggs from behind, Snacker dies and the sea will be safe to swim in for a little while; however, this method is long-winded and impermanent and generally considered a waste of time. You can always tell when Snacker is approaching by the "Jaws"-like music that begins to play.
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (Cameo)
In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, the Terrarium of Terror game world has a cameo of Snacker in the way of a billboard for "Snacker's Loans," likely as a play on the phrase "loan shark."
