Description

Spinies are large porcupines with black-and-white striped needles.

Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest

In Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, Spinies make their debut. Spinies walk around aimlessly and have no formal attack, but can harm Diddy and Dixie Kong by walking into them. Due to their protective needles, Spinies can not be harmed from above or behind, instead they must be defeated with a roll attack to the front or a thrown barrel.

Donkey Kong Land 2

In Donkey Kong Land 2, Spinies reappear, identical to their previous appearance.
