Splitting Up is a move in the Banjo-Kazooie series. When utilizing this move, Banjo stands on a Split Up Pad and Kazooie jumps out of his backpack, separating the two.
In Banjo-Tooie, this move is first learned from Sergeant Jamjars in Witchyworld for a price of 160 Musical Notes. While Split Up, both Banjo and Kazooie have smaller health bars. Banjo retains his ability to backflip while split up, and Kazooie retains her ability to fire eggs from the front and back, use the Feathery Flap, and use shoe-based moves such as the Turbo Talon Trot while split up. However, both characters also have new moves they can learn while Split Up.
Use
- Banjo-Tooie:
on a Split Up Pad to split up. While Split Up, again while standing on the pad or a Swap Cloud to switch between the two characters. Walk into the other character to reunite them.
Banjo-Tooie (XBLA):
on a Split Up Pad to split up. While Split Up, again while standing on the pad or a Swap Cloud to switch between the two characters. Walk into the other character to reunite them.
