Split Up Pads

Split-Up Pads are items found in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Description

Split-Up Pads allow Banjo and Kazooie to split up. They are red and blue pads found together. One features Banjo's face and says "Gu-Huh" on the side, the other features Kazooie's face and says "Breee" on the side.

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo-Tooie, Split-Up Pads are introduced in Witchyworld, where Jamjars teaches the duo how to use them. Split-Up Pads are then found commonly in the following levels and in the Isle o' Hags. Standing on the Banjo pad and pressing or will make Kazooie jump out of Kazooie's backpack. Standing on a character's respective pad while split up and pressing or again will switch between the two.

Swap clouds are commonly found near split-up pads, which allow the player to switch between Banjo and Kazooie without returning to the pads. This system is commonly used to press "co-op" switches.
