Description

Squirrels' Tails are, as their name implies, large squirrel tails (resembling Conker's own) that hang on hooks.

Conker's Bad Fur Day

In Conker's Bad Fur Day and its remake, Conker: Live & Reloaded, Squirrels' Tails are introduced the first time Conker dies. Their purpose is explained to Conker by Gregg the Grim Reaper: as long as Conker has a Squirrel's Tail in reserve, he cannot permanently die. However, he CAN die if he has none left in reserve. Squirrels' Tails are scattered around the game's world, and the more he collects, the more "chances" Conker has. Most Squirrels' Tails only give Conker one extra life each, but some of the better-hidden ones are worth a total of 9 extra lives each.
