Stomponadon (Triassic Steamroller) is a minor character in the Banjo-Kazooie series.

Biography

Stomponadon is a huge dinosaur who lives in the Stomping Plains in Terrydactyland. He is so large that one of his legs is all that is ever seen of him.

In the Games

Banjo-Tooie

In Banjo-Tooie, Stomponadon appears in the Stomping Plains in Terrydactyland. If Banjo and Kazooie enter the open area where he stomps around, they get crushed under his huge foot. Banjo by himself can get past by hiding in the crater-like footprints on the ground and restoring his health there with the Snooze Pack (as there is no way for him to avoid being hurt). Kazooie by herself is fast enough to get there by simply running to each footprint before being crushed. When Banjo and Kazooie are together, they have more than one option, but the simplest way is to use the Wonderwing.

Interestingly, Stomponadon, alongside Dippy and Chompasaurus, are the only non-boss characters to get a boss-like intro and subtitles.
