Biography
Tanktup is a huge turtle that resides in Bubblegloop Swamp. His feet are known to become quite cold and numb, requiring assistance to fix this. Due to his large size, it is possible for Tiptup and the Tiptup Choir to take up residence inside the turtle's body.
In the Games
Banjo-Kazooie
In Banjo-Kazooie, upon meeting Tanktup he will complain that his feet are numb and require some warming up for him to be comfortable. Tanktup requests Banjo and Kazooie's help to do so, and the the duo must use the Beak Buster on all four of his feet to reduce the numbness. The large turtle will then literally cough up a Jiggy.
After this, Tanktup will leave his mouth open, allowing the bird and bear to venture inside to meet Tiptup and his choir.
Banjo-Kazooie Nuts & Bolts (Cameo)
In Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, a wooden model of Tanktup appears as an exhibit in Banjoland.
