The Alliance (Snitz)

The Alliance was a response to the mods at the time. SnS discussion was just going on the decline, with little to no new information flowing in at that time. This was about the same time as BoltDragoon was telling everyone "SnS doesn't not exist. Period". Because of this, he started locking stuff down that seemed stupid. EnEnDar did the same as I recall, but both of them did it in a way that sort of pissed off everyone, including what would several future moderators. Somewhere a line was crossed and so a good majority of the members got together and formed what would known as the Alliance. Basically they all synchronized our efforts to deal with the problem by meeting in AIM chatrooms.

The final plan that came to fruition from those chats was simple: Nobody would post at the RWP for a month or so. It worked: It led to the induction of several new mods, the shifting around of the existing mods, and the removal of several mods that had not been active For a long time. However it also left the RWP inactive for a time and there were grudges held between members involved. Everything was sorted out in the end and everyone stopped fighting.
