The Original Donkey Kong Country 2 Soundtrack was released in 1995 on Compact Disc. The soundtrack CD was only available to subscribers of Nintendo Power - Nintendo's official magazine - via its Power Supplies supplement. It features 55 tracks, 29 of which are full-length songs from the game, 5 of which are blank tracks, and the final 21 of which are "bonus" tracks featuring short jingles from the game not listed on the cover.


The music on this soundtrack was composed by David Wise.
