Tower of Tragedy

The Tower of Tragedy is a quiz show hosted by Gruntilda near the end of Banjo-Tooie. The participants are Banjo & Kazooie, Mingella, and Blobbelda. The premise is very simple: the question is read aloud, and if a contestant thinks they know the answer, they buzz in. If they answer correctly, they gain two points. If they answer incorrectly, they lose two points and the question is left in the air temporarily for another contestant to try if they wish. These "leftover" questions are worth plus-one or minus-one point. Some questions may give a visual aid, which is shown on a large screen containing the Tower of Tragedy logo. The contestant with the least amount of points at the end of each 180-second round is crushed by a one-ton weight dangling above their head, and the game lasts for a total of three rounds

The Tower of Tradgedy quiz is also available as a multiplayer game. The game length in multiplayer can be set to be score-based and end once a player reaches 15 or 30 points, or can be time-based and end after 5 or 10 minutes. The contestants in multiplayer are, in order of player number, Mumbo Jumbo, Sergeant Jamjars, Banjo & Kazooie, and Humba Wumba.
