Troff is a minor character in the Donkey Kong series.

Description

Troff is a large, obese pig. His best friend of Scoff, a large, blue hippopotamus.

Donkey Kong 64

In Donkey Kong 64, Troff appears alongside Scoff in the game's first seven worlds. In each of the first seven worlds is a Troff 'n' Scoff portal, which transports the player's Kong to the duo, just outside a Boss Door. In order to open the Boss Door, the player must make Troff's platform rise so that he can reach a key to open the door, which is accomplished by feeding Scoff a certain number of bananas from that world. Once Troff opens the boss door, it displays the face of one of the Kongs, allowing that Kong to enter the door and challenge the boss.
