Ultimate Bulletin Board

The Ultimate Bulletin Board (or UBB) era was a period of the Rare Witch Project Forums history from December 31, 2001 to late-2002 that used the Ultimate Bulletin Board software. Most of the members from the Snitz era re-joined, along with, of course, some new people.
One notable thing that came out of this era was the "Ongoing Story: Once Sentence at a Time" topic and its sequel. Both lasted for a long time and were quite popular. The original started with one simple sentence: "Once there was a pile of sand." Users were told to continue from there. See also: Notable RWP Forum Games.
