The Unga Bungas are minor characters in the Banjo-Kazooie series.
Biography
The Unga Bungas are a tribe of cavemen that live in Terrydactyland. Unlike their rivals, the Oogle Boogles, their eyes are not visible beneath their thick hair, but their mouths can clearly be seen. The Unga Bungas are the most belligerent tribe in Terrydactyland - although the Boogles want Terrydactyland to be a democracy, the Bungas want to rule it unchallenged.
In the Games
Banjo-Tooie
In Banjo-Tooie, Banjo and Kazooie meet only a few Unga Bungas over the course of the game. In Mayahem Temple, one had fallen asleep guarding the stolen Priceless Relic Thingy that had belonged to Targitzan; when he realizes that Banjo has recaptured the relic and returned it to Chief Bloatazin, he becomes terrified of being caught and flees.
In Terrydactyland, another Bunga guards the entrance to the Oogle Boogles' cave to prevent them from leaving - when Banjo becomes a T-Rex, he frightens him away with his deafening roar. The final Unga Bunga is less consequential: he guards the entrance to the Unga Bungas' cave, but decids that Banjo and Kazooie "seem okay" and let them in. However, he will not allow anyone wearing silly shoes into the cave.
