Personal Biography

I found the RWP by way of Google and other Banjo websites in April of 2001. For the next four months, I browsed around the site and occasionally checked out the forum index, but I didn't register, because I wasn't allowed to register at any message boards. (Parental paranoia.) However, in mid-August, I managed to get permission to register at GameFAQs ("so I can contribute reviews and stuff"), which led to permission to register at the RWP. Shortly after, my forum registration restrictions were lifted.

My first week was spent browsing, taking in, and bumping old topics, and generally being n00bish. Oh, how I loved that Snitz. But apparently, I made a good impression, because the regulars didn't chase me off. I became a moderator at the forums' fourth incarnation - the vBulletin - on September 22, 2003, and I've been moderating with an iron fist ever since. Er, I mean...

Like Gold, my first attempt at archiving RWP history started with the Rare Witch Project Archive, after I had spent several days going through two years' worth of Temporary Internet Files. Hopes were high, but ambition was low, especially after it became apparent that nobody was as into this stuff as we were.

Over the years, I've been involved in everything from FAQ writing, game reviewing, game enhancer code hacking, ROM hacking, remixing video game tunes, creating MIDIs of game tunes, programming, website creation, and now Wiki editing.
