Viva Piñata series

Viva Piñata is a series of life-simulation sandbox games by Rare. The games put the player in charge of a garden on Piñata Island, which they must fix up in order for Piñata to come visit and, eventually, take up residency in their garden. After the Piñata would join the player's garden, the player would have a variety of choices they could make in regards to what to do with the Piñata, such as selling it, breeding it, or breaking it open for other Piñatas to eat and increase their happiness. As the player gained a higher amount of money, they could afford more types of food, areas for the Piñatas to live in, and decorations.

Viva Piñata and it's squeal, Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise, were both released on the Xbox 360 and on the PC through Games for Windows Live.
