The Wonderwing is a move in the Banjo-Kazooie series. When utilizing this move, Kazooie sticks her head and wings out of Banjo's backpack and covers Banjo's head with her wings while emitting golden sparkles, protecting herself and Banjo from harm while costing the duo one Gold Feather for every two seconds that the move remains in use.

In Banjo-Kazooie, this move is first learned from Bottles in Clanker's Cavern.

In Banjo-Tooie, this move returns unchanged.

In Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge, this move is first learned from Bozzeye in Spiller's Harbor for a price of 350 Musical Notes. The use of this move varies greatly from previous games, see "Uses" below.

Use

  • Banjo-Kazooie: N64 Z.png button to crouch, followed by N64 RightC.png to use the Wonderwing. Continue holding N64 Z.png and use N64 ControlStick.png to walk around, invulnerable.
    Banjo-Kazooie (XBLA): Trigger left.png or Trigger right.png button to crouch, followed by pushing Stick right.png to the right to use the Wonderwing. Continue holding Trigger left.png or Trigger right.png and use the Stick left.png to walk around, invulnerable.
  • Banjo-Tooie: N64 Z.png button to crouch, followed by N64 RightC.png to use the Wonderwing. Continue holding N64 Z.png and use the N64 ControlStick.png to walk around, invulnerable.
    Banjo-Tooie (XBLA): Trigger left.png or Trigger right.png button to crouch, followed by pushing Stick right.png to the right to use the Wonderwing. Continue holding Trigger left.png or Trigger right.png and use the Stick left.png to walk around, invulnerable.
