Xbox Live Marketplace
From RWP Wiki
The Xbox Live Marketplace is a virtual marketplace accessible only while signed in to Xbox Live on the Xbox 360. It enables users to download such content as game trailers, in-game content, and demos to their Xbox 360 Hard Drive or Memory Unit. Some content - like demos and trailers - is free, but other content - like in-game content, gamer pictures, Xbox 360 Dashboard themes, and Xbox Live Arcade games - requires payment in Microsoft Points. Sub-sections of the Marketplace include the Xbox Live Arcade, which offers over 100 smaller-scale games to download, and Xbox Originals, which allows players to download full Xbox games, such as Halo: Combat Evolved and Burnout 3: Takedown. Additionally, users in some countries can access a special part of the Marketplace called the Video Marketplace, which offers TV shows (such as CSI and South Park) and movies (such as The Matrix and 300) for download.
The Xbox Live Marketplace was originally accessible from the "Xbox Live" system blade (section) on the Xbox 360 Dashboard. It was later moved to its own system blade, called "Marketplace." With the advent of the "New Xbox Experience" Dashboard redesign in November 2008, the Marketplace could be accessed from the "Game Marketplace" or "Video Marketplace" menu items on the Dashboard, from the Xbox Guide, or from each game's detail page in the Game Library.
