Biography
Oldest of Theena's relations, Yeros has a deep love for storytelling, an almost limitless capacity for anecdotes and tales of his youth-often slightly embellished-and would gladly regale young Kameo and Kalus with these stories at any opportunity. Yeros is also a shrewd judge of character and was one of the few Elves capable of looking past Thorn's appearance... seeing the potential for deceit.
Since the day that the remaining Elemental Sprites returned to the Kingdom carrying Kameo amongst them, Theena had always believed it was the baby's legacy to receive the Element of Power. Yeros--who was wise enough to spot Kalus's spiteful attitude from an early age--readily agreed with her.[1]
History and Development
In the Game
Yeros is being held captive by Queen Thyra of the Ice Temple. When released, he questions the Mystic's motivations and knowledge before giving Snare to the player. He can be found in the Enchanted Kingdom, but also in the Mystic's hut before battling Thorn.
Relations with Other Characters
- Kameo: Yeros refers to Kameo as "tried and true as they come," and expresses great enthusiasm in her skills and abilities.
- Kalus: Yeros knew very early on that Kalus would grow into a spiteful individual, and while he doesn't dislike her, he's aware of her character.
- The Mystic: Although one sided, Yeros becomes very suspicious of the Mystic and even investigates her hut after being rescued, wondering how the Mystic could have missed the Elemental Sprites being held by Thorn's seven Troll Lords among other thing.
Trivia
Yeros is the only member of Kameo's family who can be found away from his usual post.
