All your base eggs are belong to us

It's theory time here a The Rare Witch Project, and what an interesting one it is. Stop n Swop and the whole Bottles' Revenge malarkey. Many of you may have heard about the yellow "BK" egg we found in BT. Today we explain what we've found in the Tooie cart, and quosh some rumours.

First off, we travel back to BK and the system they used to include the secret eggs into the game. There were not 6 different coloured egg images, just one single yellow egg. The programmers then simply used this one base egg for the others and simply changed the colour. Now back to Tooie, we found the exact same style egg in the images aswell as the 3 "new BT style" eggs. From this we can deduct that either the 1 egg colouring method was going to be used in Tooie with the secrets and that yellow base egg is simply redundant or that the 2 eggs we find in the bk paks are to be collected normally as they were (because we knew about them from BK) and that this yellow egg is still going to be used for colour changing to perhaps the red, green and cyan eggs. But now for the bad news: NTSC to PAL conversion. Upon converting the game to PAL, developers often remove unused items from the game, and basically tidy up the code. When we compared our PAL version we found to our dismay that the yellow base egg had been removed. So, it's not to be used in either the NTSC or PAL version. Now onto the slighty better news. The Devil Bottles image that we found in the NTSC version is still in the PAL version of the game. From this we can assume that the image will at some stage in the game be used. There is still plenty to do in terms of hacking the game, so it would be foolish to rule out that Bottles' Revenge, given that the menu text we revealed on the 5th of January is still in the PAL version. We'll keep you posted on any new developments.
