The embargo for Yooka-Laylee reviews has lifted, so let's take a look at some of the hot takes soaring across the Internet today.

Playtonic Games revealed their E3 trailer for the highly anticipated Yooka-Laylee featuring a ton of gameplay footage, a jab at their former past as Rare developers, and a slight delay into next year.

One of the most interesting parts of the EDGE Magazine spread is the detail on the collectible systems that are operating inside Yooka-Laylee. Fair to say that even Rare themselves had mocked collectathons in Nuts and Bolts, so it was interesting to me to see how Playtonic avoided making the game a sludge of increasingly pointless items to collect.
