Thanks guys, that takes a lot off my mind.

Well, I think came upon something. While hacking around MMM, I looked through the barrel where the egg is supposed to be, before entering in the cheat. All I see is black. Now when I enter the cheat the area with the egg is clearly visible. So this brings me to my point. The big Knocker door, looking behind it, also has a black area. While searching through BK, I also came upon the text, "ridiculously secret area." I'm guessing if we can figure out the cheat for the riduulously secret area, we might be able to open the big knocker door and the area will be visible to us. Something is defiantely back there. I was examing the door and saw the texture on the floor changed from the mellow green floor, to a yellowish sandy texture in front of the door. Not only that, but there is an erry green glow behind the door, that flickers like it's some sort of area. I checked the second door to find nothing. So something is up with that big knocker door. Just a theory.

Go_Nosis 10th March 2006 02:22 PM

Wait, there is a ridiculously hidden area in BK too? That sounds like a major discovery. (Someone correct me if it's been found before.)

Also, no. I'm sorry, but I've been behind the barrell in Mad Monster Mansion before you activate the code. You can walk around as if the room is there, but invisible. And you cannot collect the egg as it's not there.

The knocker doors (I'm assuming you mean the ones in the tower, in the beauty machine room) are different. I've been there too. You fall, down down down and yeah; nothing.

But back to the initial sting of the first discovery. Is there actually a Ridiculously Secret Area in BK? Methinks that may be good news. Could you take a picture of the text for us?

Good Work...

You know, you guys are getting really in-depth! Some great things to think about! Theguyoverthere...that website was a pretty good find! They brought up some profound things! So, all-in-all, I think it's good that you're all still diligently working. :approve:

EDIT: Over at the RIDDLE Forums, I made a Thread, specifically for SnS. Over there, you can go crazy with your ideas, and not get flamed. Just wanted to let you know! You can find the link in my Signature... :)

A Rediculously secret area in BK now too?

...

It is the game that never ends...

Ight 10th March 2006 04:53 PM

I want proof of "Rediculously Secret Area" in BK. eg; screenshot of coding.

in_christ 10th March 2006 05:24 PM

(banjoman) quote : I also came upon the text, "ridiculously secret area."

where were you located when you found the (ridiculously secret area) text
in the memory? let us know so we can go to the same spot and try it ourselves.
thanks.

Banjoman 10th March 2006 07:22 PM

I found the text near the big knocker door. I'll have a screen up soon. Right now I got school.

Does anyone else think that a more scientific aproach would get us closer to
solving SNS? I think that when people report a find, they should give the
following info so the incident can be documented so we don't keep doing
the same thing over again. Plus we all will have the info so we can investigate
the report as well. This way we can cut down on fake reports and things that
have already been thuroughly investigated.

it would be a good idea to mention if you are using a rom or cartridge, what
emulator, what cheats you have activated, if you have the secret area's
unlocked, if you have the secret items or mention which secret item you
have collected. What area you were at when you found the item of interrest.
If possible a screenshot of the find. I'm sure someone
else could come up with
a more detailed report list than mine, So if anyone would like to make it feel
free too. If you think this is a stupid Idea post that also. I think it would help
us all to be more organized with are reports.

I think in_christ has a point. Scientific would be good. (Not scientific notation, mind you. That stuff's evil!)

However, I think we should have a sticky topic of discoveries. Both big and small. Because I'll bet that there are hundreds of little discoveries in this one topic alone, but no one would really want to read through 120+ pages of posts. See what I mean? If we could have a center for debunking or proving discoveries...

Maybe I should make a website for this one topic alone. In review, I mean...

Rocketlex 10th March 2006 10:46 PM

How about a wiki?

Banjoman 10th March 2006 10:47 PM

I agree with in_christ. Maybe setup some sort of list?

Soulreaper41392 10th March 2006 11:37 PM

well i dont know if youve said this before or not, but I dont think we were supposed to get the ones that just "magically appear", such as the ones in MMM, RBB and CCW, but then again........ in CCW in the squirrels house...... the thing on the table DOES look like an Egg.

and in an observation, doesnt it seem like we were gonna need some sort of really power full move to get to some of the Eggs? Think about it. I noticed that when I entered the Ice Key code, it looked as if the ice wall had been SMASHED not melted! and the "1881" barrel must have had to been smashed opened by something powerful seeing as it has the metal X on it. and the door.......well it could be either opened normally or SMASHED. maybe we had to get the move, come back to BK use it to get the things then bring 'em on back to BT and use 'em. anyone notice this?

dmoss 11th March 2006 12:57 AM

Yeah...kind of like: Use the Grenade Eggs for the Barrel; use the Fire Eggs for the Ice Wall...that kind of thing? Maybe a Clockwork Kazooie Egg for Nabnut's House?

I searched RSA with Nemu64 but didn't get anything. However, that may be because of Nemu itself. I did find "STOP 'N' SWOP ARE YOU SURE A - YES B - NO", but I'm sure that's old.
