Cheat code to warp to Concert in Banjo-Kazooie

What's the cheat code to warp to the concert area in Banjo-Kazooie during normal game play? My technologically literate brain can't read the instructions of ancient hexadecimal glyph of the 2000s.

I have Banjo-Kazooie (U) (V1.0) on Project 64.
I searched it up but its a dead link to the old Rarewitchproject site.
The only cheat codes I find now are the ones for Sandcastle or cheat codes that are written so haphazardly on a forum from 14 years ago with instructions only a mother can love.

Any help? Cheers!

Can you post the dead link?

Are you telling me for a mere $3,795 USD I can be become the god of this website?

I'm not sure what you mean by concert area, but this is an archived version of the page you're probably looking for:

I always wondered what IceMario looked like. But $3,785 USD!? What do I look like, someone who wasn't born after '85?

Not OP obv but my immediate guess would be the opening cutscene area.

qwertykins76 11th January 2021 04:26 PM

In my imagination the opening cutscene area was always behind the big waterfall in Spiral Mountain somewhere, nested around behind hills.

Mr/Sir Norris 12th January 2021 02:31 PM

Now that you mention it I believe that was my head-canon as well, except the bull charging through at some point always confused me. The bull shows up in Mumbo's Mountain and Click Clock Woods right? So how did they get to Spiral Mountain? Were they just really hungry for flying vegetables?

I'm still salty that there wasn't any warp or cutscene trigger behind the huge doors in Grunty's beautification chamber. When do we get to unlock Mt. Fire Eyes??

CaptainBlackeye 12th January 2021 02:44 PM

As much as I appreciate this, I still don't really understand how I put these in.

Mr/Sir Norris 12th January 2021 02:55 PM

Ohhh I'm picking up what you're putting down. I was never good at gameshark things or really anything programming or tech-wise, but my very basic understanding is that you would need to access the "Cheats Menu" in P64. CTL + C should get you there or going through the menu bar at the top. From there you can add a name to a cheat i.e. "Concert Warp" and then add the hexadecimal code in the box next to it. Once you have added a new cheat it should pop up in the cheats menu with a checkbox next to it for you to click at your leisure while the ROM is running. I do not know exactly how the warps function, as it could be something that instantly triggers or only triggers once you hit another warp flag.

So based on the wayback machine the code you would be aiming for is "instant trigger warp"

8037E8F5 00XX

Replace the 00XX with the 4 digit code that corresponds to whichever scene further down the list that you wanna explore. I would imagine the concert would be amongst the intro scenes somewhere.

Anyone with more knowledge or expertise please feel free to both correct and belittle me lmao

That seems to sorta work, but not exact what I had in mind.
This is more what I wanted to do:

have the ways of the gameshark become this lost to time

CaptainBlackeye 12th January 2021 06:50 PM

Yes. Please elder teach me your cheatin' of the olden days.

Mr. Airplane 12th January 2021 06:59 PM

I don't have the way to warp you to the intro area with the models and stuff there, unfortunately. Would take some doing to get that going, I think.

I've reached the limits of my knowledge unfortunately :(

That being said that is a super cool clip/scene so wish you all the best in digging up that code. There may be a thread hidden away here about exploring cutscenes tbh. May have a peruse myself.

EDIT:

Ok maybe this could work? There was some effort back in '07 to explore cutscenes and basically try to find anything unused to give more info about anything Stop n Swop related.

Try using that list of codes in your gameshark, then when the intro is playing press R to warp. *Hopefully* that will warp you in and give you movement of Banjo, but no moves unfortunately.
