They Took out the Fungus Forest Pic?
Title says all.
It seems to me they took out that picture in Banjo's House of Fungus Forest in the XBLA Re-Release. Why would they do this? I have no idea. Discussion? Check out this clip and pause at 37 seconds in. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2N1bGg1f7go |
You're right! It's certainly a different picture - looks a bit like a picture from Tooie to me.
|
Yeah different picture for sure. It doesn't look to different though, but why they changed will be interesting to learn.
|
Just looks revamped.

No the graphic lines is in bk. How come people call a drawing a 2 year old drew: fungus forest |
The picture that was replaced was obscenely low resolution, and to get an updated version 4J would have had to access a decade old beta version of Banjo-Kazooie that might not even exist anymore. All for a picture frame in the main menu.

This picture looks like as CCW entrance area in Gruntilda's Lair in BK.

Aww, they cut it out? That's a bum. :(
Oh, and I'm typing this from an iPhone, HUZZAH!!! XD |
Oh. I originally heard it was updated to a much better picture. Thats sucks to hear.
|
In the first video of BKXLA the pic is of Tooty I beleive.
|
It appears to be an enhanced version of the Fungus Forest picture. Rare probably wanted us to see a clearer image. Then again, it looks like Banjo walking on the tree from Click Clock Wood.
|
Proably it just higher Rez but i'm in school so I can't check it out.
200th Post!:) |
Who ever said it was Fungus Forest at all? Maybe it has always been Click Clock Woods >.< (The picture I mean), tis obviously just a revamp of the original though, that's clear.
|
What I find interesting, is that although Banjo is standing in the exact same position he was in the original Banjo-Kazooie, the background is entirely different than what was seen originally.
This is obviously an enhanced version of the photo, but it's definitely not Fungus Forest. It appears to be the tree from Click Clock Wood. |
