Wait- I thought he did the LOGBox tracks... Guess not...
And what's "main title?" It can't mean the title screen- that's just Spiral Mountain... Maybe he's talking about the rock Banjo-Kazooie theme...? He did mention that he played guitar, sneaking in a guitar solo in the Ballroom Disco track in Ghoulies...

Yeah, that's the Main Title. Although I don't recall ever actually hearing it in-game :p

I guessed he didn't do LogBox from the fact the LogBox was made after he left.

Whyme123 20th April 2009 08:18 PM

Ah, looks like he did nutty acres. No wonder it is my favorite level :p

Zondekel 20th April 2009 08:22 PM

Well, I know he was working on it, as he mentioned he composed a version with Grunty Industries in it but then changed it. But I thought that it was implied he changed it and composed the Grunty's Lair version...

LOGBox was being worked on when he worked there, but it was referred to then as "CPU World". It wasn't re-named LOGBox until after he left.

Also, in the last scribes it was mentioned that Grant had done a version of LOGBox with a Clanker's Cavern remix in it. Just how many versions of LOGBox are there?

I don't think it was named CPU World, that would just of been the place holder..
I don't think they renamed it when he left, but named it

L.O.G.Box720 is a remix of Frantic Factory from DK64.
The Rock opening is in the game. Wait at the opening for a few minites, you'll see.

Grant is GOD! He is so epic Rare can't afford him no more.

You know, Robin's name is listed in the credits for DK64...what if he wrote Frantic Factory?!

I should've asked him...

I 'unno... I've listened to both, one after the other, and I really don't hear it... I mean, there are a few similarities, but not enough to say that LOGBox is a complete remix of Frantic Factory... I see it more as like how Grunty's Lair was incorporated into the theme- it's not a Grunty's Lair remix, but it has a bit of the melody. Same thing with this.
I think...
