Some of us don't HAVE emulators, or don't wish to use one. It's still ILLEGAL, last time I checked.

because think about it, what would make a talking toilet give you an egg? i can't think of anything. you'd probably just have to blow up the barrel front with a grenade egg. (off topic but i think they would have put a sns point at loggo since he is in both games.)
isn't it only illegal if you don't already own the game? besides, you can't stop n swap on an emulator it just said that at some ROM website i didn't even know about emulators until just recently okay if no one will try this in 184 pages than i am right now. i also need to stop posting so much since this is my fourth message straight and i'm basically talking to myself |
There is an edit button, use that instead of posting 4 messages in a row! People don't like that ;)
@ Tatsumaru: emulators aren't illigal, owning roms from which you don't have the original is illigal. And please for some people, don't post in this thread if you clearly don't have any idea what you're talking about. |
yeah i forgot about the edit button. i don't really like using emulators very much, the only reason i have one is because you can make hacks on them to make the game cooler. although i don't even know how though. but it still surprises me that no one tried this yet. i trying to on my emulator but it's hard on that. so i think i'll just wait till my n64 gameshark arrives so i can erase my sns stuff. and how will we know if your game will get jacked up if no one will try this!?

Sorry there buddy.
I'm going to have to ask a mod delete that post of yours, cause clearly. YOU CANNOT DISPLAY ROMS ON ANY PART OF THIS WEBSITE, EXCEPT IN PM. READ THE RULES, sorry if that sounded harsh. On Topic: Everyone has constantly hacked BK + BT, has tried every possible method. But there are still people who search for SNS. |
If we need four eggs, I think they would be the colors of the four jinjos from when you battle Grunty. So those jinjos would represent SnS eggs, while the Jinjonator could represent the Ice Key. Another reason I think this, is that you have to use eggs to free them. However, I forget the colors of the four jinjos. If someone could please tell, I'd appreciate that.

Also as a little discovery: I noticed three of the eggs (yellow, cyan, pink) are similar to the primary light colors (yellow, cyan, magenta).. o_x; But I'm unsure about that. @ChillyDark: The forum I moderate also has an emulator/rom rule.. we are allowed to mention them, but not talk or display any. BAD ROMS. xD |
Hi I'm, new here and have read this topic through and through and I've been wondering did someone found SnS yet... because I found on youtube.com someone doing a hack and acessing the SnS room through Gruntilda's Painting.

You can tell its fake just from the link. It says fanart which means a fan made this art. I saw better photoshopped ones, this is badly done. |
If its fake I want to hack into the game except for the fact that I don't own it. I have a GameShark Pro but I don't know how to hack. I know how to use GameShark and can understand the "language" computer a bit. On the matter of SnS are we sure that we have to collect 4 eggs? Why not 1,2,3,5,6
|
Howdy! Actually, we don't know how to perform/get SnS. The video that you saw was part of an old April Fool's Joke that the Administrators here made. It was Ice Mario & SubDrag, and they did an awesome job...you can't really tell that it was all faked!
--- EDIT: Dang you guys are quick! I didn't even have a chance to respond! :p |

here's why
in GBTG (grabbed by the ghoulies) in the school room there is a dry erase board with 4 mystery eggs and the ice key on it with =? next to it and there are some maps with Xs where the mystery eggs are. that gives reason to believe 2 of the eggs are fake. most likely the ones you can't think of any way to get, well, two of those anyway;)
|
I know but how do we know that it's not lying how do we know that Rare's not telling the truth so we could further in the wrong direction. I mean Rare didn't want us find out about Stop n Swop let alone find it.
|
it might be but in a different forum it says that in some place in GTBG there are some holes you can see through and see a pink egg in the next room. there was a pic but it was all blury so i couldn't see it that well, but i t's either a huge discovery, or a taunt from rare.

Can someone do this for me just so that I know I am wrong?
Can someone: Type "MDCCCLXXXI" and "CHEAT MDCCCLXXXI" (roman numerals for 1881) in BK when you have all the eggs and key and w/o if possible. Type "MDCCCLXXXI" and "Cheato MDCCCLXXXI" or maybe even "Cheato IXXXLCCCDM" in BT when you have all the eggs and key and w/o everything if possible. Type the codes using the code rooms in each game. This could be it, otherwise it would have been foolish of RARE to have X's in the code rooms. BTW What is the use of the rumble pack in Banjo Tooie and bk? I saw a box art and it says designed for use of rumble pack. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...4_Game_Box.jpg |
unrelated I know but you know the unused door on Grunty's Industries?
I was just wondering if anyone has investigated this further, or have tried to enter via "moonjumping" (sorry for my inept hacking knowledge.) If Rare did not remove this unused door then it may serve some purpose, or contain something they were too lazy to delete.... say the stop n swop chamber... |
It's been proven that there's nothing behind the door via walk thru walls code, but I still think it might open to drain the sewage..
|
i heard that a level that was going to be on BT was moved to BK, my guess would be either CC or RBB since they fit the quagmire scenery. either that, or rare is taunting us again to have us trying and trying to do the impossible.
|
Since this is SNS discussion, I was wondering if this, was real.
|
Wow.
I can't believe that, and yet I do. Seems rational.. ;-; But I'm not sure. |
interesting, i've never heard of that.
|
Yeah I was there when that happened, but I forgot everything he said. I don't believe everything he says is true, and most of it is basically what everyone else knows with just some more pieces of the puzzle put together.

I tried it, when you posted it, on BK.
I'll try it also on BT, because nothing happened on BK. I shall post a video on Youtube soon. |
I don't know if that's a viable option.
I've heard several times from reliable hacking sources that the "X" button in the TTC Sadcastle isn't mapped to anything at all. |
Aight, Thank you. Man if this doesn't work, I have no clue what will. We have tried just about everything and we have got nothing. This is our last hope except that one thing with the maps in the cartridge. Another idea is, this isn't new from me, but, if you collect all the eggs (IDK about key i guess that too) that you go to Mumbo with 100 jiggies to see the pictures. When he shows you the ice key picture you press the buttons to shoot eggs, (Z+up-c), 4 times and then either in the picture you spit out four eggs and then you see them, or you just go over there and they'll be there with a new level or something.
|
Here is the video proof.
That is that I suppose, unfortunately I tested your theory on BT and it buzzed like you did something wrong. I did it on my N64, not the emulator. So I can't get any proof. |
Why did you use gameshark, and I don't think you can press Cheat more than once. No offense, but I can't let that stop this theory.
|
I remember.
Cheat doesn't work on emu's. I'll be trying this theory on N64, now. I won't record video's. Edit: I tested it on my N54, it didn't work. |
so this won't do anything?
|
Unfortunately, no.
There is still hope for SNS. A tiny glimmer of hope. I hope we can find more SNS realated things. |

finally someone tried this! i can't remember where i found the section about those test levels they found in bk and dk64. does anyone know how i can find that section? or better yet how i can get to those test levels?
|
I have an idea, hack BT tonight by making save states.
Go to the SFS topic to find out how to get a awesome easy to use, memory editor. |
This has probably been stated one million times over before.. You know I'm good at that.. but.. Maybe the two eggs you collect in BT.. Are the ones you're supposed to just leave alone in BK?
But.. if that were the case, then why was the Ice Key also included in Banjo-Tooie, if Grabbed by the Ghoulies reveals that you need to collect 4 eggs and a key of some sort? |
Because Grabbed by the Ghoulies is a red herring.
|
Cyan is definately a fake egg, if there is any.
Why? Because Cyan is one of the colours of ice. Ice= Ice Key. My theory is we should collect the eggs in this order, by the real life elements. Red, Blue, Yellow, Green. Just think about it, Rare could have thought nobody would think of the "elements" so they made an egg combination. This is probably as fake as any theory, though. |
How bout Red Pink Cyan Blue? There are only two base colours there, the others are lighter versions.
|
...Maybe you're supposed to collect them according to the order inwhich they were placed into the game. (I.E. - The yellow egg in Goby's valley would be first, the green egg in Mad Monster Mansion (ontop of Logo) would be second, the red egg in Rusty Bucket Bay would be third, and the blue egg in Click Clock Wood last.)
..Meaning that the cyan egg in Mad Monster Mansion and the pink egg would just go uncollected. |
