New Perfect Dark
 

It's going to be a "AAAA" game, which means I'm going to hate it.



The concept art looks pretty though!

So when the trailer started for this I literally minimized it to do something else waiting for the generic gritty shooter bit to be done, and then I heard "Perfect Dark" and had to do a double take. Not that I really played the original much but I feel like this...isn't PD?

Guess I've just been bored with how most FPS games are portrayed in the modern era. Soon as I seen the drone just flying through the city is when it was marked as 'meh' in my head. Would have been a stronger reveal having it be more, I dunno, spy themed I guess (to me).

PERFECT DARK:

- not developed by Rare,

- reboot,

- coming to PC and XBS,

I wouldn't want it developed by Rare anyway.

Okay, that's not entirely fair: the fact that it's not developed by Rare doesn't matter to me, because most anyone who worked on PD is gone.

Besides, this will end up being like Tomb Raider or The Last Of Us rather than an FPS. Almost certainly.
