I am playing through sword now and having been through one game I care even less about the story now!

The story skip option skips the major cutscenes but you are still stuck in mind numbingly dull conversations mashing the **** out of A!

Also still REALLY HATE HOP!!

Aw, I like Hop a lot, actually. I mean, he's a little annoying, but I like the direction his story went, especially where he lost to Bede, and then the sixth gym, and his spirit is crushed... but he STILL thinks he can take you after you've just gotten your sixth badge. Like, okay kid, we'll fight, but, ah...

I mean, I can't blame him- he's constantly in his brother's shadow, and now that he's finally able to venture off and maybe have his own shot at becoming champion, he thinks he can finally make his own name... only to find he's maybe not as good as he'd like when his rival, who started her journey at the same time as him, is leagues better than him. Oops.

I've seen people say he's like Hau but better, but while I think Hop's story is better, I don't see him obsessing over malasadas anywhere, so.. maybe it's a draw.

as far as I understand it ( and to be fair I don’t really understand it) Only like a handful of mons even get an actual advantage from Dynomaxing and even then hardly at all
