Using archive.org, it has multiple links to the site, usually from the days it was updated. I only checked the oldest two.
EDIT: doing the same to Rareware.com and using the original link, I found a rumor mill with a lot of q's and a's, but one of note is:
Q: Is there anything in the cave above the waterfall in Spiral Mountain?
A: This cave is empty in Banjo-Kazooie. Sorry!
Has anyone checking in B-T?

icegod 6th January 2006 03:02 AM

If i'm not mistaking there is a bk cart up there.

JaredDSMan 6th January 2006 03:03 AM

Hey, look at this? Kinda odd isn't it? Thiese codes sre for Banjo-Tooie!

http://www.nintendo.com/codegallery?...m-Game-0000-53

Benjo Koolzooie 6th January 2006 09:59 AM

Yeah it looks like they simply made a mistake and placed them in the BT section. In fact, they have been there a while. I wonder why Nintendo even has them on their site?

digidestind - GBTG: In that game their is a blackboard in one part of the game, and has a drawing of 4 eggs and a key, and also some other drawings (not sure what they are).

And yes, in BT, the waterfall in BT has a small cave, with a blue egg inside a cart.

totokan 6th January 2006 10:36 AM

Yah, I realised after I went up there again. You can see the top of the tower in BT, and it looks untouched.

digidestind 6th January 2006 11:29 AM

so.. what about the winkey bunion thing i mentioned on the last page?

Benjo Koolzooie 6th January 2006 03:17 PM

Yes, a lot of people picked up on the Winkybunion thing a few years ago over at Gamefaqs. I think people attempted going to the code chamber and typing winkybunion and so on, and it came to nothing in the end.

noply 6th January 2006 10:39 PM

I remember that.
They also tried stuff like "wnkybunon", "winkybunon", "and wnkybunion" because they thought the i's in winkybunion could have something to do with her always losing her eyes. Especially the left one.

ChrisPBacon 7th January 2006 03:33 AM

I think that if any Bk will ahve SnS still working, it would be BK:GR. Although there is no evidence of SnS, I'm sure Rare was always thinking about making DS games, even before they announced it. DS games have already hooked up with GBA games, so it could be very possible taht a working version of SnS lies in BKGR. Just a though. Also, the BT cheats on nintendo codes are still listed in BK and BT. I just got back from ski club, and have to go to bed, then study for midterms, so I wont be on BT or Bk for a week. I'll try to help as soon as possible.

SECRET ICE SECRET BEACH SECRET EGG SECRET CELLAR etc

I seriously think that this could be a huge discovery that has been overlooked.

Think about it.

Ice = the Ice Key
Beach = TTC, where Sharkfood Island is with the pink egg
Egg = (I assume this is just a generalization of all of the eggs? I don't know)
Cellar = the cellar of MMM where the cyan egg is found

I beleive that there may be clues to the other eggs in this text string, going along with the 4 eggs theory.

I think that this could tie-in with the GBTG chalkboard, aswell:
Ice key + 4 eggs = ?

As for the drawings on the chalkboard, don't they display Sharkfood Island from an aerial view, the Ice Key platform with the key from an aerial view and Gobi's crypt?

That would explain most of the chalkboard from GBTG, except for the "Open secret level" bit, where I thought this "secret level" may have been the "Ridiciously Secret Area" from BT, but was removed midway during BT's making due to complications, or perhaps this could be a hidden freeze digit in BK using Instant Warp (didn't hatrick find a beta Spiral Mountain or something using freeze digits with Instant Warp?)

We also still have to consider the "Grunty's Lair: Tower Room" in BT. My theory is:

After obtaining the correct SnS items, you go to the beauty room in Grunty's Lair and a door is opened. Upon entering this door, you get a cutscene or a message saying "Insert BT" or something of the sort. Once you were in BT, you would be in the "Tower Room" where I assume the items would be put to use.

I think though, the Tower Room in BT was scrapped due to space limitations and complications with SnS, and the text string wasn't removed. I guess the same could apply to the "Ridiculously Secret Area" in BT aswell.

I don't know, just some thoughts for you all.

xtreme6789v2 7th January 2006 09:15 AM

Well Hatrick, what other lines are in the string besides "SECRET ICE SECRET BEACH SECRET EGG SECRET CELLAR" since you included "etc." ?

qwertybub3 7th January 2006 12:39 PM

What's the Ridiculously Secret Area?

vaticandrummer 7th January 2006 05:52 PM

It's a line of text found in Banjo Tooie, aswell as "Grunty's Lair: Tower Room" and "Shouldn't Be Here Jinjo House".

Banjo-Fella 7th January 2006 06:02 PM

"Shouldn't Be Here Jinjo House" actually contains a map, though. They created a version of the Jinjo's house for the Grey Jinjos - and inexplicably changed its level name - maybe just for a laugh.

vaticandrummer 7th January 2006 06:23 PM

Ah, I see.

Well, I still think we should check other Freeze digits in Instant Warp to see perhaps that if they might be something like the beta SM.

Could someone PM me with info to help me get the Instant Warp in BK working? I seem to be clueless.

That's part of a list of song names that you can find in memory. Some of the relevant surrounding text is "SECRET GOBI" and "SECRET SQUIRREL." Take a look at the music modifier code for the complete list.

banjo nerd 7th January 2006 07:55 PM

well i know people arent talking about the lair but this will solve the problem.I and other other people have talked about the lair in bt but i was in my bt walkthrough and you know the part where it says (entrance) thats the world what i mean is say if mayhem temple right)

temple
(mayhem temple) it would be like that if you`r in the temple. so in the lair in bt it would be like

tower room
(entrance) so thwe part with (world) is the world, i am happy to find this out so I and many others dont need to destroy

That would support the 4 eggs theory, wouldn't it?

Ice key (ICE), pink egg (BEACH), cyan egg (CELLAR), blue egg (GOBI), yellow egg (SQUIRREL).

Perhaps we should try collecting the SnS items in this order?

NinBan 7th January 2006 08:56 PM

I'll try it right now.

EDIT : I have problem, the sandcastles codes don't work!

ChrisPBacon 7th January 2006 10:02 PM

Something really weird happened while I was playing BT. I entered JRL, and split up. I used kazooie to enter Jolly's and do the shopping around town Jukebox clockwork kazooie egg thing. I was very bored, and didn't feel like studying, as I just finished. I randomly did backflips by Jolly, always holding Z and pressing A. One time when I landed, the TV went into widescreen mode (like the cutscenes) for a second, then went back as soon as Jolly jumped on the counter. I think this may have happened, but I'm so delerious right now that I may have been seeing things. I'm fairly sure it happened though.

Are you guys still convinced that Club Joe article was real? :p

Anyway, that isn't necessarily true. Two of the songs (Sharkfood Island and the MMM secrets theme) play in different, but similarly themed, areas. So we wouldn't know how many eggs we'd have to collect.

And that's assuming SNS is still accessible.

sorry for bursting your bubble dude * burst your bubble* but it just might be you`r t.v

ChrisPBacon 7th January 2006 11:23 PM

Wasn't the four eggs theory from the GBTG board? It was in the Club Joe article, but I'm fairly certien that it comes from mainly the GBTG board. And has anyone moonbounced to the Flume of Doom in BT? I want to know whats up there.

banjo nerd 7th January 2006 11:37 PM

nothing just the ride it dosent activate.....or maybe there is somthing you have to trigger

Ice Lightning 8th January 2006 12:32 AM

I finally read all the pages (I think I may have missed one) I didn't want to post until I had read it all.

Anyway, I was thinking about the actual names of the levels in BK and realised I didn't know what Trove meant. So I looked it up on two dictionary websites (Dictionary.com and Cambridge Dictionary)

I noticed first on dictionary.com it says
Quote:

A collection of valuable itemS discovered or found; a treasure-trove.
I thought that there is only one secret item in TTC.
Then on the Cambridge site when I typed Trove it took me to Treasure Trove and said
Quote:

1 a large amount of money or a large number of valuable metals, stones or other objects found hidden somewhere and seeming to belong to no one

2 a treasure trove of sth a place that is full of something good
Again this says there is lots of things, hidden and belonging to no one. It seems just like Shark Food Island's pink egg but this suggests there is more in this level.

Don't know if this helps but it was quite interesting.

EDIT:I just realised this is post number 1234

you just wanted to waist space dident you ice, four words YOU USED THE DICTIONARY

vaticandrummer 8th January 2006 01:28 AM

Dude, you don't have to be so mean about it.

What banjo nerd probably meant to say was, there is an actual Tresure trove and the BK level Treasure Trove Cove was named after it.

digidestind 8th January 2006 03:05 AM

they just put trove in, because of the pirate theme, and because it rymed.

xtreme6789v2 8th January 2006 03:49 AM

Here is my thought about the Advent Calendar ( check http://www.rarewitchproject.com/foru...ead.php?t=1691 about that) .. it is meant to count down time. There was a possibility for a counter in Banjo Kazooie. Then, they found a MOVING piece of land somewhere in there? Movement over TIME. So then it somehow connects? Just a thought.
What Ice Lightning was pointing out, if I am correct to assume, is that TTC plays a critical role possibly with SNS (whether it being the egg, sandcastle, or more like a trigger) since its name would make sense.
Also, while messing with the JRL-looking pipe from BT, I was able to get some weird egg on the lower right hand portion of my screen. It was bigger than normal, on the HUD, and faded blue (like the normal eggs). There was no question mark. It appeared after I purposefully fell down the pipe (not first time, but several) then tried changing into a truck and it appeared there then or after falling a time or two after that. I would try it again, but I do not know where my codes for character-morphing went, but I will try and get a screenshot if I can.

vaticandrummer 8th January 2006 04:11 AM

I always thought there was/is a connection between FF and FP. I also read in a thread (was it this one?) where hatrick said that the area behind the X barrel in MMM is blank until you trigger it with the sandcastle code. Perhaps the same is with FF, and could it be hidden away in a Freeze digit in Instant Warp? I would love to try and test out the Freeze digits, but I don't understand how to get the codes working, so I can't. :(

Oh, and xtreme, I think that blue egg on your screen is the HUD for Devil Bottles mode, am I correct? If it is, then that would be a very interesting find you discovered. Good job!

EDIT: I was looking around the earlier threads here, and I found this. It is an extremely convincing theory, one of the best (if not the best) theories I've ever read.

PS: I am considering compiling a giant list of SnS info/theories, Project Dream, and Beta BK/BT/DK64 knowledge, pictures and video. If you are interested, PM me and we can work on it since I think this could be a great tool to help us look at info we may have overlooked, or just to organize all that we really know of these mysteries.

xtreme6789v2 8th January 2006 05:35 AM

Ah yes sorry there.. when I changed form, I might not have seen him anymore so it appeared as odd. But yeah it appears in the "Bottle's Revenge" mode there. I also read that same idea about the x barrel in MMM, but I was reading also in one of these forums that the walls were always there, nevertheless. Just the actual interior room and objects had to be activated.. if I read correctly? I was reading that one forum on FF and FP and it just seemed to die... they just stopped posting at the end. We have way too many theories on our hands right now. This will be a fun year.

vaticandrummer 8th January 2006 05:44 AM

That's why we should go along with my idea of compiling all the info. :D

banjo nerd 8th January 2006 06:02 AM

Off topic:i have an rom so know i can prove my point.

on topic:maby you can activate a fly pad in sm

hatrickpatrick 8th January 2006 12:59 PM

I just had another idea, which may or may not lead us to anything.

I got a new copy of BT yesterday, and I noticed something: when you collect SnS eggs, they aren't displayed as individual items, but as a count of how many you have (a pic of an egg followed by a number). I wonder what would happen if we found that address in memory and used it to increase the number of eggs we have? would we just have more left over after hatching the first 2, or would heggy say something different?

I'll try that later and see what happens

digidestind 8th January 2006 04:19 PM

good idea!!!!

vaticandrummer 8th January 2006 06:26 PM

Yeah, I always thought it was odd of Rare to put numbers after the eggs.

Yuoko 8th January 2006 06:56 PM

Been a while since I've been here...
What's this about "Grunty's Lair:Tower Room" and "Ridiculously Hidden Room"?
I assume Hatrick's given up on the Four Egg thing in B-K?

Ice Lightning 8th January 2006 08:05 PM

The Grunty's lair tower room was that Coolboyman found some text in BT via gameshark that said GRUNTILDA'S LAIRA (TOWER ROOM) http://www.rarewitchproject.com/foru...ead.php?t=1738 This proves that Grunty's lair did originally have more in it.

I'm not sure what the Ridiculously hidden room is.

Gaming Master2k 8th January 2006 08:10 PM

Rediculously Secret Area1 was a line of text found by Ice Mario and SubDrag quite a while ago. When you go to one of the silos in BT and it brings up the names, that's where it appeared (as well as Area 8 and Area 9 or something along those lines), however we weren't able to warp to them.

EDIT; Pics are here: http://www.angelfire.com/games3/BKBT/rsashot.html

banjo nerd 8th January 2006 08:46 PM

the part with (some word) is the world/level so if it is like (entrance) that is called in bracets in her lair in bt that is the world,so really there couldent be another part...... or is there thats the question?
