E3 2014 General Discussion/Reactions
 

We are one week from E3 2014! Twitch has announced that they will be streaming every major event so that's neat. We can use this thread to speculate and *******, and to scream when they announce Banjo-Kazooie 4, available this Christmas.

Forza 2 for the Xbox 360/One was announced I think today or yesterday. Seems that E3 list wasn't as far fetched as I'd thought

Literally the only thing I care about are Rare's announcements this year, although I don't actually expect anything. (And maybe just a tiiiiiiny bit of Smash Brothers.)

I have an actual E3 leak to share: Dekamori Senran Kagura (the sushi cooking ninja strip battle themed rhythm game spin-off of the beat-em-up series) will be announced for localization under the title Senran Kagura Bon Appétit. I don't know if this will be a part of the Sony floor since it's a Vita game or if Xseed will have a booth to show it to the press (most likely this since they have other already announced games to show) but I do know it will be there.
My source: the official E3 insider website listed it by accident and took it down later.

Also my dad came back from his business trip at Nintendo HQ and told me that all those blurry crooked angle camera-phone shots of a new Zelda or the Smash roster are fake.

Only thing I'm absolutely looking forward to is footage of the new Pokémon games!!! Everything else is an added bonus

Can I have Majora's Mask 3D please, Nintendo? I know you're releasing a zelda game this year already but Grezzo can make it in no time and it would pad out the 3DS schedule. Pretty please?

I miraculously have neither school nor work next Tuesday so I can soak in that Nintendo Digital Event and whatever else pops up.

I freakin' love e3 and am especially hyped for a certain something great.

All that has my attention is the Nintendo Digital Event (which I will be watching while playing Tomodachi Life), everything else just doesn't seem interesting to me.

Though I will be surprised if bamco changes their mind and does release a physical copy of One Piece Unlimited World R for the Wii U. Otherwise I'll keep my pre-order for the 3DS version.

Like every year the only game company I care about is Rare, and, like every year, they either won't be there or will announce some stupid kinect game I'm so excited because this year they'll announce Banjo-Kazooie 4 and a new Perfect Dark game.

I'm really looking forward to Sony's press conference. I have a PS3 and a Vita and although I really want a PS4, I'm going to have to most likely hold off until Christmas for one.

The games I'm particularly hoping to see are

-Final Fantasy XV
-Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
-The Last Guardian (I CAN DREAM DAMMIT)
-Gravity Rush 2
-Uncharted 4
-Super Smash Bros. 4
-HOPEFULLY a Gran Turismo 7 announcement
-Halo 5 (Even though I do not and most likely will not own an Xbox One)
-...And pretty much any new IP really. I always watch all the press conferences live, so I love being surprised like I was last year! :)

EDIT: I'd also LOVE LOVE LOVE to see Atlus with Persona 5 and Persona Q, but I know at the very least for P5 that most likely will be a TGS 2014 thing...

What day of the week does it start? I don't have any local friends who are as into gaming as I am, so ill most likely be watching alone...Q_Q

From Tuesday to Thursday June 10 - 12. I heard from places that there's going to be an RWP stream anyway which I'll be in on.

It should probably be said that while the convention OPENS the 10th, the press conferences for Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft, and Sony are on June THE 9TH. As has been with past years, the press conferences are all always the day before the show. :)

Nintendo's is only on the 10th because, again, theirs is prerecorded and will be stream able instead of being held live at the convention center.
