BK Prototype Art
I didn't see a post on this, so here's some minor bits of prototype art for charity by Rare.

Fanmade?

It's supposed to be legit, for charity, from the original Banjo Kazooie creation.

The box art intrigues me then. I thought perhaps Gruntilda was large in the box art from back when Dream's antagonist was a giant. I suppose it's still possible, just unlikely. Also it seems as though the background of the current boxart was just made up and wasn't actually a level. Again it doesn't prove anything.

These are pretty cool! I wish they were a higher resolution, else they'd already be in the BKArchive...

Sheesh is that box art cool. Maaann... such a treat to see anything development-related for Banjo. A relic from that brief year or two spent in secrecy, when a team of a few crafted a masterpiece that would be cherished by millions for years to come.
And that sticky note is hilarious! Quote:
(Though I don't blame myself or anyone else who didn't make the connection earlier - there's nothing in Spiral Mountain even remotely jungly....) |
Gregg Mayles (BK designer) has offered to sign any of the Banjo-Kazooie items in the auction according to Will Bryan.

Definitely watching the concept BK cover art... deciding whether $150 is worth it though.

I think so right .

Anyone buy therm?
|
Did anyone here save the ebay auction images? Because there aren't any pictures there anymore...
