Rusty Bucket Bay and the Treasure Trove Cove connection
 

Ok well I had to reword my thread since to many people were getting it confused. Basically Nintendo references the Baddies in Rusty Bucket Bay as Strange Sea-men from Treasure Trove Cove

Now read the text next to the picture of the Rusty Bucket Bay enemies (6th picture down). Notice how it says "Strange sea men from Treasure Trove Cove." Now read the text next to the picture below that one. It says "I say Captain! I say what?!". Do these guys have a captain?

Now you will notice that treasure trove cove has alot in common with Rusty Bucket Bay. Here is a list.

-Snacker the shark
-The picture showing shark islands location
-And the sea men from treasure trove cove.

If these seamen came from treasure trove cove then the captain himself is someone who was from there as well. It's funny how alot of info is laying around on the net. Makes you wonder what else is out there.

This could tell the story of the yellow, and pink egg. Maybe a fight with this "Captain" of the seamen in Tooie would have been a likely scenario to obtain the yellow or pink egg.

I'll read that right now, and tell you my opinion later.

I'm sure it'll be interesting, though.

Wait a minute...these seamen aren't looking for the pink egg. Since they obviously came from treasure trove cove, they were the one's who hid the egg in shark island in the first place, but they made a treasure map so they would be able to find it again. I wonder if these guys were the one's responsible for hiding all the eggs in the first place...

Actually, I think that's kazooie using her invincibility mode, you know the one that uses gold feathers. Honestly Rune, I think we already figured there was a connection there. Personally, I think that it was a typo saying they were from TTC. Though we still got Beta MM and conker windmill in MMM.

Well, duh. But we didn't know the seamen came from Treasure Trove Cove. So it all fit's in and begins to make sense. They hid the egg, left a treasure map leading back to the pink egg, and their captain or the one described in the sandcastle code must have been from TTC.

So both the yellow and pink egg belong to these seamen.

OOOOH you thought I meant they were physically in TTC in the game. Hell no, im not that dumb. I'm just saying that they were the ones who probably hid the egg their in the first place. Also, Wow looks like I uncovered some lost beta's.

all this talk of seamen is turning me on........

that aside, yeah, looks like some beta stuff, though I don't really think there's anything we haven't seen already.

Yah, just wanted to bring up the "Seamen" connection. Nothing special about the pictures in particular. Downer.

the seamen were probably supposed to deliever a load of seaman's surprise to jolly in BT....

I couldn't help laughing. But you may have a point. I Never thought of that. That's a bit vague though...and could be referring to any sea creature. Who knows.

Except this is an old page from Nintendo.com, how would they be wrong when Rare was owned by them back then? The seaman reference is NOT a typo. Who know's about the egg pic though, maybe it destroyed the hut.

Rune, I think you mean the Red and Pink eggs. The yellow one in B-K was in CCW while the Red was in RBB

I think either part of, or the whole ship from RBB could have been in TTC. Based on what Rune said, and also on the same site, on the general info page, it said there was a ship to explore. In the level, all you do is go and get the gold pieces, so maybe there was more to it back then, like having rooms like on RBB's ship. Just a thought..
