something small i realized
 

ok so the ice key is blocked by an ice wall and you can tell its there. the blue egg is in the tomb behind a rather obvious door. the pink egg is under sharkfood island, and the island itself is obviously suspicious. and the cyan egg is hidden in an unbreakable barrel. all of these eggs (and key) have there own room and is rather obvious that they're there. but the green egg is just sittin on logo, the red egg is just sittin on captains bed, and the yellow egg is just sittin on nabnuts desk. there 3 egg locations get visited whether you have the codes or not. does this mean anything at all?

aren't those the three eggs that aren't in Banjo-tooie? and yah I noticed that too.

Notice Mumbo only showed you three items anyway? Those three (the ones with the coolest hiding places) would be the ones that Rare would be obligated to use, if SNS worked. If they could think up more secret prizes, then thew other ones would also be used. This is older news but yeah.

I've noticed this too. I've also noticed that the cyan egg is the only egg that's not shown to you by Mumbo that also has a secret room.

They could have easily hidden the other three in other locations. I wonder why Rare chose to put them in rooms where you visit anyway.

This leads me to believe that those eggs weren't actually meant to be used. Maybe they were just for testing? This adds more mystery to my theory about the yellow egg's mysterious being in BT.

Rare only revealed THREE of the items because they knew that they may not end up using all of them in Banjo-Tooie. You know, in case they ran out of time in Banjo-Tooie to implement all cheats.

By the way, Kazooie actually DOES hint of more eggs being in Banjo-Kazooie. Go watch the cut scene where Mumbo shows you the eggs N ice key. Right before Mumbo reveals the Blue egg in Gobis valley Kazooie asks what the ice-key and eggS are for. That's right, eggs are in plural even though Mumbo only showed you the pink egg. Wether this was intentional or not, I dunno.

Little slip up? But... I mean, if you're only presented with 2 eggs and someone says "eggs" then I guess you'd just assume that it just meant those two. If someone said "All those eggs" though, then you'd be suspicious.

In my opinion this was just a typo, since the scriptor knew there were going to have 2 eggs shown in that cutscene and just wrote eggs instead of egg.

It could be a typo. I mean there are a lot of slip ups in banjo kazooie and tooie.

For instance, the portrait in grunties lair in BT only uses a quarter of the original portrait.
