Some pics, maybe?

hatrickpatrick 24th August 2005 08:25 PM

Ah
here's the difference: On mine, it was black all the time. On the ROM.

I wonder if that could be because I didnt use the sandcastle code? I warped into sharkfood island, I didnt actually raise it...

hatrickpatrick 25th August 2005 10:54 AM

Can someone give us a pic of the Map with a red X, and tell us which version (NTSC/PAL and 1.0 or 1.1) they were using?

Benjo Koolzooie 25th August 2005 12:29 PM

Yes this map thing needs to be cleared up, offically once and for all. Earlier in this topic it was confirmed to NOT change. So, pictures, game version and the method of collecting the secret item from Sharkfood island. Ie: Codes to warp inside there, sandcastle cheats to raise the island.

hatrickpatrick 25th August 2005 06:35 PM

Ok, I've just cracked the last address in the 1st batch of demo control codes I'm going to release. Just have to make a digits list now...
They'll either be up tonight or in the next day or so...

EDIT: Ok, it's going to take a little longer... These digits are impossible to work out... They do something different each time. With a bit of luck, I'll be able to have the digits list done in a few days. Sorry about yet another delay...

The X does change from red to black I have said that like 6 times now. I did it on my normal n64 cart version and I used the sandcastle codes to raise the island. So aside from telling you which version it is that covers everything I think. I would take a pic but I dont have a camera and its on the n64 and not a emulator so I really cant.

Chaos Angel 25th August 2005 07:51 PM

Mine's red and I collected the egg using sandcastle codes. Pic will come later, as I'm able to.

vaticandrummer 25th August 2005 07:59 PM

I think someone has already said this, but...

Would it be because some members have BK 1.0 and others have BK 1.1?

hatrickpatrick 25th August 2005 08:40 PM

In that case, 1.0 probably has it, while 1.1 and PAL dont. If that's true, we need to work mainly with 1.0 from now on, as it probably still has the main SNS stuff still in it...

supermario 25th August 2005 09:01 PM

Question:
what is the difference between version 1.0 and version 1.1? was there a newer release of BK....?

PenquinDude 25th August 2005 09:36 PM

1.1, cart, and sandcastle codes here, map changed color for me.

vaticandrummer 25th August 2005 11:40 PM

Hmm, I need to check my cart and see what I have.

Hello, all. I never thought I'd get back into the SNS craze, and I'm still not in it full-swing, but I'm intrigued by all of you guys saynig that the X changes color. I remember trying it awhile ago in a ROM, and having it not working, but I could have messed up somewhere. I can see if it changes, if someone'll give me the NTSC code for removing SNS data. Preferably both versions, if it isn't too much trouble. Can't remember which I have. Thanks a bunch of noodles, in advance. I'll post back when I check it. I'll *try* to get a picture, but I'm not sure if I can hook up the digital camera, and I don't have a capture card. If it does, I'll try to get a rom snapshot.

marionuthead 26th August 2005 01:56 PM

actualy the day before yesterday i got the pink egg using sandcastle cheats. then yesterday i went to RBB to the cabin and the X on the map was black {it was a U rom on Pj64 v 1.6}.

AlmostJinkies 26th August 2005 04:54 PM

I have NTSC 1.0, and the X never changed color. It was always black.
