I think you were meant to get 3 sns eggs in banjo kazooie. Only 3 of them are put in areas that you are normally nor supposed to enter without codes and the others are put in places you already have acces to so that would meant only 3 were to be collected. 3 sns eggs and the ice key.

Then what was the point of the other ones?

I believe all of them were meant to be collected. Or the other's were just extra's in case they wanted more unlockables in Banjo tooie.

3 of them were most likely just in case eggs as they are put in areas that you are normally able to acces but the other 3 are in areas that you cannnot normally enter.

That doesn't mean anything. How do you know if you weren't suppose to go to grunty's industries and find a way into the locked bathroom to get the secret egg above logo in MMM? Just because it doesn't seem like those eggs were meant to be there, doesn't mean Rare intended for them to go somewhere else.
