Beta Banjo Worlds In N&B?

K so Banjo land, has got bits of all the old games combined to create the final product right?

But what about old cut out levels? the beta worlds? its like a 1% shot but they might return to. I think i saw some odd golden structure in a distance when Ken used the spring move in the Banjo Land Walkthrough video. It was about 3 minutes in I think. It appears to me as the Giant's Lair. Though its incredibly unlikely that they would do that. but maybe? At first i thought they were part of the organ from the mad monster mansion segment f the level, but i really dont think it is. Maybe its something else? maybe its the Giants lair.

When the sign is read for Glitter Gulch Mine, it said: "2 out of 18"
Whats the 18th world? I dont think they would have put in Cauldron Keep cause its not much of a level. Although i think i remember seeing the tower of tragedy curtains in a video... whatever.
But even if they did, Im pretty sure I read something about how its made 19 worlds. ( I cant remember where i read this but trust me :D) Whats the nineteenth? ::confused:
Weird eh?
Tell me what you think.
I dont think the whole 19 world thing is too important. Could just be false info given by one of the developers.
But Beta Banjo Levels? I HOPE SO.
DOUBT IT?!?! Yes I do haha :P

2 out of 18 meant 18 signs for 18 levels. They must be leaving one level out, or there is a sign missing for one.

Not necessarily. There was a sign next to the Jinjo exhibit.

That gold castle was most likely either jiggywiggy's or jing-a-lings. Giant's Lair wasn't really a world. More like a test map. Though, if you want to see something cool with the Giant's Lair, well, give me a few months on that. ;) Actually, I think if you look carefully, you can see one of those hologram things in an earlier part of the movie, and it looks like a jinjo or something.

the guy in the interveiw said there were 19 levels made up of it, no? plus theres only 17 original 3d levels from b-t and b-k. this leaves two extra levels to be added in, and they aren't even fully done the game the two levels might be the surprise.

Whyme123 10th July 2008 05:28 PM

They said levles, NOT SIGN POSTS!!

Every level doesn't need a sign post

crazypirateguy 10th July 2008 06:27 PM

I would kill for a Dream level. However, I think Banjoland is going to have a major SnS reference. In Retro Gamer #36, both Chris Sutherland and Gregg Mayles hinted we would find something relating to SnS in this game. I think that might be one of the sections you're looking for.

I hope maybe they'll toy around with us a bit more than that...I mean, I'm certain they will. o-O

Kahuna360 10th July 2008 07:24 PM

Yeah SnS will once again grind my gears.
And we will all be into hacking NB again once we finish the game.
Sigh..
Theres not end to this mystery.
But as odd as it may be, i kinda like that.

Also yea im pretty sure they did put in some kinda of beta level. Most likely fungus forest & mt. fire eyes considering hammer head beach was pointless/put into treasure trove cove. 19 levels. 17 that i know of. beta levels? i cant effing wait.

Whyme123 10th July 2008 08:26 PM

The 360 isn't hackable :(

Mister Mxyzptlk 10th July 2008 08:38 PM

What about Grunty's Lair, Isle O' Hags, and Cauldron Keep? The overworlds and a kinda-level. We can't rule that one out completely.

Also, maybe there are only 18 signposts because it is still in Beta! Is it possible that they still have more to add in the upcoming months?

Whyme123 10th July 2008 08:42 PM

doubt it

Mister Mxyzptlk 10th July 2008 08:52 PM

Oh ok. never mind me. :p
