Well i found out that there is a entrence that is not yet there but is used,
And i found this: http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/2...gggggggbz3.png U see that the wall is like the icekey cave and only those tho walls share the same graphics! **** this is a bigger mystery than 9/11 |
There is no entry there, its just overlapping textures. When viewed at the right angle, they go invisible.
There really isn't anything left to be discovered in BK that isn't extreme hacking. All maps have been found, all codes have been found; pretty much eveything related to SNS has been uncovered. Everything but the results. We even have the method! |
ahh i feel like crap now... But if it is like that then why do we hack it?
|
Because it gives us something to do. Most people that actually WANT to know are the people who theories and shout. We, unlike the rest, actually research, hack and confrim other things, instead of randmly bablling about nothing. :)
We hack the games mostly for enjoyment, really. |
Actualy I have a theory that there is a debug mode in banjo kazooie which is activated via the game select screen. Also I may have found a code that MAY lead us to a debug code , well for feathers and eggs anyway
A032D10F 0001- Everything dissapears from game select screen then crashes A032D10F 0002- GIANT COLLECTABLE ITEMS (IN SOME PLACES)Check wozzas cave A032D10F 0003- Nothing A032D10F 0004- Deactivates things like fires on torches A032D10F 0005 Very small collectable Items, Fire in wozzas cave is misplaced. The cukoo in banjos clock (in his house, dissapears) A032D10F 0006- Freeze A032D10F 0007- floating collectable items A032D10F 0008- No collectable items A032D10F 0009- some collectable items are in a different position A032D10F 000a Freeze A032D10F 000b ITEMS CHANGE- CHECK OUT WOZZAS CAVE A032D10F 000c Freeze A032D10F 000d freeze A032D10F 000e rotated items- e.g banjos chair A032D10F 000f freeze A032D10F 0010 freeze A032D10F 0011 items misplaced I dont think debug is the best way to describe it at the moment. But the digit 000b is the one you really need to see. Its certainly a modifyer of some sort |
ok so i saw the behind of the moss wall and the "cave" how do i find the room in rusty bucket bay and the extra jiggy switch?

Also, besides what Fox mentioned. We found that SNS works as a one-way swap. This means you would recieve the sandcastle codes in Banjo-Tooie, enter them into Banjo-Kazooie's sandcastle (which would unlock the areas) and then swap the data to Banjo-Tooie for your prize. |
It is a normal gs code. Some of mario 64s codes are like this

also this code only affects feathers, eggs and notes. Mumbo tokens and sns items remain the same
|
i tried to use the code with 000b but when i went into freezeezy peak it told me somethin about rom space not mapped or something then i had to reset the emulator
|
A0 is a normal code. As I understand it, 80 and 81 codes are constant write to cached address codes, whereas A0 and A1 do the same for "uncached" addresses (AR hacking document). What that actually means in practise, I really don't know...
That sounds really interesting though ssj, and it sounds very similar to a code I've found which I'll be posting soon enough (just have to try out one or two more things with it) It's part of that update I mentioned before Christmas, I never actually got the chance to post it so I'll do that soon... Can anyone give us a PAL version of that code? |
is it possible to try hacking anything in the actual cartridge or does it all have to be done through roms/emulators?

No...It doesn't. You can use a gameshark with a cart, but you cannot hack the cart itself, you need a program like Renegade 64 to hack and last I checked there's nothing like that which can be used on a cart. |
