Everyone Read - Seventh Sns Egg!
 

I have very big news for all you SNS searchers, so listen up. I didn't have much faith in this Stop n Swop thing, but I was searching for something completly unrelated to Stop n Swop today. It was the search for something to load up some graphics that are a pain to load up.

I know this for a fact, some of the graphics on the graphic list NEVER, or very rarely load up. I think it matters what map it's on, although I tried loading up the same graphic at two different times on the same map and it froze one time. I usually do image searching in the Train Station of GGM.

Okay the explanation is out of the way, so it's time to tell you all the thing you actually care about - what happened.

I was trying to load one of the freeze graphics (0785) when all of a sudden this appeared...

Your eyes do not fool you, a Purple Stop n Swop egg. I will get a video up as soon as I can, fraps is being evil again, and the fact that the game becomes EXTREMELY LAGGY when the image was loaded doesn't help. I don't know what happened, I must of accidentally activated a trigger, or it could just be one of the graphics that rarely load up. Either way, I'll find out what happened.

NOTE: THIS IS JUST A GRAPHIC, I CANNOT 'COLLECT' THE EGG.

The egg is the same size as the BK SNS eggs, but the texture of the egg seems to be more detailed than the BK SNS eggs. Are there more eggs? I am going to look hard into this to find an answer, so please be patient while I figure out the next step in this mystery.

I'll try to post a video soon to prove it isnt photoshoped or anything.

Are you sure this isn't the Pink egg in a darker environment?

I checked, not just the color, but the texture's graphic is different.

Can the egg be loaded in any location?

Perhaps Rareware were tinkering around with multiple Eggs + locations and in the end (before S'n'S fell a part) had to narrow it down to six while axing the whatever others there may have been?

The Pink egg has a light shade of purple at it's bottom,and the purple one has a light shade of pink at the bottom,very odd.It could have possibly been a back up egg,or mabye they were planing on using 7,who knows.But the odd thing is,why put the egg's graphic in the hardware,but not the egg.Mabye someone should try this.What code did you use?

No, The way I think of it is, this is not a theory but a discovery and as such does not belong with the other theories.

Maybe it's just a color mod... It's possible I s'pose... Keep up with trying out those Freezeezy digits, and tell us if you ever find any other cool images...

Can you trade items by switching cartridges? I suppose not, right?

But yeah, this is very interesting.

no i didnt mean like back back but like new things to find back, like before the video.

It doesn't rotate because that image was originally the box, and sicne the originally image, the box never rotated in the first place, the egg doesnt. Try replacing the stop n swop egg in banjo kazooie with an image that is usually still - it rotates. The image doesn't have the 'action' programmed in, its just the image.

Interesting, well maybe these eggs do nothing. So far I've had no luck in finding a purple, or any other colored egg besides the original six (although it might be as difficult to load in BK as it did in BT). So it seems weird that they would interst a new egg in Banjo Tooie.

Holy crap! I... I... I dunno what to say about this. A few days after the "confirmation" that we've been waiting on for so many years, a new Stop N Swop Egg is discovered. wow!

Considering that the Purple Egg is actually solid as opposed to being transparant--can't touch it nor walk through it--, it may be possible that it could have once been planned to have interaction with either Banjo or Kazooie alone rather than just collecting it as is done with Banjo-Kazooie's eggs. Glitter Gulch Mine is connected to Jolly Roger's Lagoon, so perhaps they had originally planned to allow Banjo and Kazooie to leave worlds by themselves (or just to have a Split-Up pad in GGM). With the two by themselves, Kazooie could have hatched the egg as was done with the Yellow Egg in Heggy's or Banjo could have used his backpack to swoop it up and then take it to Heggy's himself. Quite a bit of possibilities here.

If there is a code that could allow you to get to that egg with either of the two alone, then give a shot and see what happens.

Could the egg be that size because the box is that size? What happens if it's wrapped around a smaller item?

naw hakey, I doubt it.. try changing images in bk. it changes the size aswell

Thats pretty cool but is too dark try firing fire eggs at it or turning on wonder wing to get better light...heheh allright!

Ok guys, here's the thing: I HATE hacking BT, due o both the dynamic memory and the constant crashes. Ice said he'd found a code to sgtop the crashing, he never posted it, but I'll try and find out about it, beause I've suddenly realised, what we need here is an object mod. Kind of like the one you found for BK, Coolboyman...

I'll give it a shot.

Also, something people ignored at the time of the discovery, the Base egg in BT is able to change into clours other than the 3 eggs you can get in BT, so the evidence seems to be mounting that there's more to it than we thought...

i thought he was loading digit 0785 not 063C

so its not an extra sns egg or it is?

I thought cos the ending digits were different they were different graphics 063C for the pink egg like BanjoPL said and 0785 for the purple egg that Coolboyman found

It isn't the same, just compare for yourself. The picture you have is a darker pink egg, the one i have is infact purple. I'm loading a different digit too.

And secondly, you didn't 'discover' anything, its just a pink egg in a dark place. So are you going to say the Blue egg is just the cyan egg in a dark place? When will you people read my signature? -groans-

Additionally, there is indeed, for a fact, a color mod for the base BK Egg in Banjo Tooie, but it only loads the normal six colors. I'm thinking this is a whole new base graphic all together.

Try the image in a few different places, see if it stays the same in all of them, that'd be a big clue...

I told you hatrick, the graphic rarely loads, so im trying to find out what makes it load or freeze. So for the time being, I cant just move the graphic to another area.

My signature does not help :(

Great Discovery Coolboyman! Always great to find new things in the game, and this is a brilliant new thing to discover.
