He often skips indefinite articles like "a" and "an" and "the," which is one of the classic trademarks of Russian-accented English a la Boris and Natasha. At first I thought he spoke a nondescript Native language, but read some of these lines and tell me you can't easily hear them in the voice of the Heavy Weapons Guy:
- "Bear and bird abuse local services. Build and explore, not smash!"
- "Bear bring Mumbo crates here, put on pink zone, talk to Mumbo and we open crates."
- "Bear scared like little girl, come back when braver."
- "Mumbo think bear go soft from too much pizza and T.V."
Notice also that he doesn't use stereotypical old-timey Native phrases like "big heap," as Humba does. What do you guys think? Was Mumbo Russian all along?
