Still, all we have on Conker's death is 'Word of God'. That can hardly be considered canon as 'Word of God' quite often turns out to be blatant lies later on when it's convenient for the series. Like I mentioned, unless it happened in-game or in an other canon source (and no, Chris Seavor mentioning it is not a canon source), it hasn't happened.
