Oh, you guys! I can't believe you missed what this update was really about! It just looks like stuff we already knew... but on the screenshot that shows the trophy getting revealed behind those blue glass screens (it's been less that five minutes and I already forgot what both the screen and the trophy were called) it says that to get the trophy you need to swim for 300 m. or something! This proves something I thought they'd do with the game for some time now: give the characters the ability to swim. I thought it was a bit silly how in SSBM you could just jump into the water and keep falling like there was nothing there.

Swimming was confirmed a long time ago, just never officially on the Dojo. Might have been his way of announcing it, though.

They've probably got a bonus for that. "Swim 200 miles total" or something. Maybe "KO while swimming" or perhaps, unlikely, "Swim the whole match yet somehow win."

It wasn't an announcement. It was in demo videos at E4All and that. Hylian actually might have seen one.

You guys are right, though. There was never an OFFICIAL announcement made on the Dojo or on nintendo.com or anything, so that might have been the formal release of it like how we got a bunch of pokeballs/final smashes/assist trophies/items/norfair/etc. on the Dojo that we already knew from the event.

....well....on dojo they showed king dedede swimming in the Ice Climber level. Does that count as an official update?

Just for the record, I am stepping out of the rwproject for about a week. This game is clearly going to leak in the IMMEDIATE future, and I have a decent chance of actually experiencing things myself without having to hide in a corner for ages.

I'll catch up with you guys later.

EDIT: PS, the Wii on the left was the Jap one.
