however i've tried to start up the dreamcast one a lot in my youth, and i remember always wanting to like it but having difficulties for one reason or another - dunno if that'd change now, especially downgrading from dc to 64, but it'll find its moment of truth

Definitely one of my all time favorite games, sadly the comics it's based on aren't as interesting. As for the versions, I forget how the DC port compares but 64 is generally considered the best with the only notable flaw being compressed audio versus the other ports. Also the 64 version is the only one where you can get a second Violator (late-game automatic weapon) to dual wield with, whereas the others just have a concept art book in its place.

Been playing a lot of Smash (of course), and I just wanted to make sure all of you set your stick sensitivity to high, and changed your Switch's MTU setting to 1500 from 1400. Provided you're not matched with someone from another country, the lag is almost not even noticeable after changing the setting. Now to not be grouped into a free for all with items on... Nintendo....

Oh, and the Spyro Reignited trilogy is great, having just finished the first game 120%, I've almost finished the first world in the second. Glad I have games to keep me occupied this Winter, because I don't feel like doing much else with how dreary and droll the weather has been.

i got glider pro working under emulation on windows 10 so i've been getting back into house design and remembering how to do stuff in the editor, remembering why i got so obsessed with it as a kid and teenager

I've been playing some OoT Randomized on N64 hardware. It's neat, but I have to reach under my bed to get to my N64 in order to press the reset button. Also Katamari Damacy Reroll because it's great and I'm glad it's back.
