IMHO, I think it was a good idea for Rare to come out with new ideas to try and capture the more "mature" audiences on the 360, but it just doesn't seem like the game was the best it could be. They could have done more like allowing people to use more parts to make huge things like they teased us about. (I never got to make the giant robot that I wanted to...)

Now don't get me wrong. I love the game, and the nostalgia really brings back memories, but when Rare is trying to capture these "more mature" players they should have realized that those people are kids grown up. What do you think those kids played? Ummm...BK and BT on the N64? Maybe? If they wanted all those people they should have made the true Banjo-Threeie and everyone would have been happy, thus not splitting up the BK fan base into New-Age and Classic fans.

8.5/10 Great job Rare, here's to seeing Banjo-Fourie

i think their plan was more to bring in a new generation of kid gamers who had never heard of banjo before. although the vehicle building aspect is something that would bring in mature audiences too... perhaps both?

Now that I think about it, you are correct. They are trying to get the new group of kid gamers with this. Killing two birds with one stone huh?

I gave it an 8.5 , Because I like the game. I've already played through it 3 times and can't seem to stop playing it. I would of gave it a 10, but their are a few things rare left out that I thought should be in the game. But over all its a great game that can stand alone (or) as a 3rd part of the banjo series. I keep playing the game so I must like it. Its not exactly what I wanted from the game, but I'm happy with what rare did here. A little more platforming out of vehicles would of been better, but I'm glad to even have a new banjo game at all. it grows on you.

8.5.

Horrible ending, lifeless characters, unused characters. LOG is the worst. Nothing like old Banjo. At all.

But, the vehicle building is genius, if not Banjo-ish. Also, I'm finding it very addictive to play still.

There are several things that make this game great!
- The amazing Music
- The Hilarious Dialog
- Jolly's Voice (XD)
- The Beautiful Graphics
- The Unique Worlds
- The Fun Gameplay
- The Fun of Vehicles (yeah- they ARE fun to make!)

HOWEVER, there's several things that make it not so great:
- The lack of an epic final battle
- The lack of balance between Vehicles and On-Foot Platforming (ST is an exception, the game should've been more like ST)
- The Lack of a Proper quiz show
- The Lack of Variations in the music of each world (not including challenge themes) like underwater, different rooms, etc.
- The Repetitiveness of the challenges

For me, I will welcome the vehicles back if they decide to bring it back for Banjo-Fourie, BUT, if there's the same amount of challenges and lack of platforming, i don't know if I'll be able to bear it.

Overall: 8/10 Good game, Fun Idea BUT needs some fixing and proper balance of traditional platforming and the new idea of vehicles

I would say 7.5-8. The only thing that gets me is the repetitiveness of all of the challenges. Only a few of them seem inspired and have some variation to them. As well as the sometimes wonky physics during races. It needed more characters, and not reusing them all through EVERY world.

I haven't beaten it yet, but really no quiz show ? That was one of my favourite things in the first two.
