Today I started Walking Dead Telltale Season 2. Apart from some odd UI changes, I'm finding it to be much more fluid and interesting than the first season, but we'll see if that changes at all.

i actually really didn't like the writing in season 2 after the second episode, mainly thought the character writing was a lot weaker and they do a much poorer job of masking how little effect your choices have after episode 3

Thank the gaming lords for hacked PSP's/old consoles in general. So I downloaded Parappa, Silent Hill, and FF9 on it yesterday. Parappa is hard as shit. But has some catchy tunes. Though it is really short. Silent Hill seems fun enough. It's like a less brutal Resident Evil, where you're given plenty of ammo and health (so far at least). But it still has those RE-esque puzzles that I'm fond of.
FF9 is slow to start, but I'm hoping to persevere. I wonder what other PS1 games I should play.

Fan translations, but you really don't need a translation to play them. The tutorial in 2nd communicates the basic mechanics very effectively and they're just rhythm games anyway. You'd need a translation for the menus, at the very most, and even they're not hard to navigate.

Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed is fun. It doesn't get me too competitive, so it's relaxing playing with people, unless they get really hyped up over it.
