Make sure you don't update Legends Arceus if you care about shiny hunting specific mons. They removed mass outbreak resetting.

I procrastinated a little bit on finishing, but here it is. All 251 Pokemon caught in Gold version. I accidentally used a couple of names twice, but I'm keeping it that way as clearly it was meant to be. Obtaining the Celebi required a few sacrifices, but it was well worth it. Probably going to do the same for gen 3, but not sure if I'll do a full living dex there. I could transfer everything over with a save editor, but I'll have to manually change most Pokemon for them to still count as legal in gen 3. A better idea might be to just inject this Gold save into the 3DS eShop version and bank all of them. The Mew and the Celebi won't pass the legitimacy check but everything else should.

Does anyone else here like Skuntank or Grumpig nearly as much as I do? They're my favorite Pokémon.

I really felt like Sword was a theme park adventure that only went forward with people cheering you on in the sidelines while throwing out handicaps to make you feel 'oh so super special and important' which really didn't grab me.

But after Legends I'm cautiously optimistic about the open-world aspect they have in mind. Even if it doesn't have the active pokeball throwing (which will be missed) or the running around during combat, if they allow for more exploration and adventure I'll be absolutely game for it.

I REALLY like all the starters and while I always go water, there's NO best option this time around imo.
