Is one character really enough to dislike on the whole level?

No need to be all, "People were mean to me so I'm gonna be mean too, 'cause I can," that's generally bad thinking..
You're right.

You can't just begin a story like that and not continue! Tell me more about this so-called sarcastic manor.

I don't dislike them! I LOVE THEM! I just had to pick a LEAST favorite, which I was reluctant to do at first, but I did. Snacker's freaky mug and... that yellow devil... are two things that I slightly... disagree with... But we've had some good times, like when Snacker died... and when... it... flew away, never to return!

Canary Mary ain't that bad. Hell, just today I finished replaying Banjo-Tooie and somehow I managed to beat both of her Cloud Cuckooland races on my first try. [/brag]

I said B-K's worst was Clanker's Cavern. For B-T I'll probably go with Terrydactyland. Definitely find it to be the most tedious of the levels. Especially with Terry's eggs and the damn styracosaurus trio.

Canary Mary really isn't the problem.

It's the common sense that people have dictating them that the only logical thing to do in a race is go as fast as they possibly can, which just happens to be a really bad idea.

I tried everyway, just tapping like crazy (which eventually worked in the end) staying behind her until the finish line and then tapping like crazy... 8 years... 8 long years... oooh...

Rusty Bucket Bay. Ugh. The music there is the only thing I like.

You should only stay closely behind her, occasionally get in front of her to make sure you won't end up falling behind, but mostly staying leveled with her. After that, it's all down to figuring out when to start button mashing to race to the finish. Beat her in only two tries (first time was the obvious constant-button-mashing method).

In Banjo Kazooie I'd say Bubblegloop Swamp. Mr Vile.
For Banjo Tooie, probably Terradactyland, too big and empty like Breegullbeak said.
I'd also say these worlds had the worst soundtracks.

BK Freezeezy Peak (The music is so awesome, and because of the legendary Icekey. And in the whole the entire design is awesome.)

BT Glitter Gulch Mine (The music is so cool, and the level design with the jewels are so nice.)
